Manager, Business Development & Contracts

Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Contracts, Performance & Business Development as the Manager, Business Development & Contracts, you will be motivated to identify and engage new business opportunities and grants, wholistically expanding RFDS SA/NT's market presence. You will ensure all tenders, bids and contracts strengthen the RFDS mission and provide strategic oversight of business opportunities. You will lead a team of contract managers to ensure compliance, value and sustainable partnerships are maintained with government, health authorities and corporate clients.

• Lead, motivate and guide the Contract Manager team.
• Analyse, develop, manage and report on business development activities.
• Manage tenders and customer contracts.
• Perform financial and risk management.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

• High levels of business acumen, business analysis and financial management experience.
• Experience in contract management, governance, tender and bid development.
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and project management.
• Creative, innovative thinking, with strong lateral and strategic thinking skills.
• Interpersonal qualities such as patience, respect for individual needs, and adaptability.

To be considered for the role you require:

• Tertiary Qualifications in commerce, business or related fields (essential).
• A background in aviation and/or health related services (desirable).
