Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Contracts, Performance & Business Development as the Manager, Business Development & Contracts, you will be motivated to identify and engage new business opportunities and grants, wholistically expanding RFDS SA/NT's market presence. You will ensure all tenders, bids and contracts strengthen the RFDS mission and provide strategic oversight of business opportunities. You will lead a team of contract managers to ensure compliance, value and sustainable partnerships are maintained with government, health authorities and corporate clients.
Responsibilities- Lead, motivate and guide the Contract Manager team.
- Analyse, develop, manage and report on business development activities.
- Manage tenders and customer contracts.
- Perform financial and risk management.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- High levels of business acumen, business analysis and financial management experience.
- Experience in contract management, governance, tender and bid development.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and project management.
- Creative, innovative thinking, with strong lateral and strategic thinking skills.
- Interpersonal qualities such as patience, respect for individual needs, and adaptability.
To be considered for the role you require:
- Tertiary Qualifications in commerce, business or related fields (essential).
- A background in aviation and/or health related services (desirable).
