Your new company
A thriving SME based in the Wilmslow area, this company is known for its dynamic culture, collaborative team environment, and commitment to excellence. With continued growth and exciting plans ahead, they are now looking to recruit a proactive and hands-on Management Accountant to join their finance team.
Your new role
As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for:

Managing daily accounting operations including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliationsPreparing and closing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, fixed assetsSupporting budgeting and forecasting processesProducing financial reports and analysis to support decision-makingLiaising with external stakeholders including auditors and tax advisorsAssisting with process improvements and systems developmentThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and being involved in all aspects of finance within a fast-paced SME.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) with experience in a similar role. You must be confident in closing monthly accounts and comfortable working in a hands-on capacity. Strong Excel skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are essential. Team-orientated, you will offer a friendly and personable approach.
