This position provides the first line of supervision and leadership for the workshop personnel, allocating tasks, monitoring work progress and quality whilst ensuring that work is carried out adhering to company policy and procedures.

• Experience as a leading hand/shift supervisor (preferably mining)
• Provide direction for the workshop personnel to carry out maintenance tasks safely in line procedures.
• Ensure daily planned work scheduled is achieved and updates communicated to the maintenance Foremen and Planner.
• Monitor work in progress to ensure allocated personnel have the necessary knowledge and skill to complete the task.
• Provide technical support to workshop personnel and assist with coaching.
• Active involvement in safety initiatives including participation in maintenance related incident and accident investigations, risk assessments and JSA use.
• Maintain stock levels required onsite.
• Ensure all work carried out is of a high-quality standard before being released for operation.
• Relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences.
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance.
