Maintenance Fitter

We're seeking an experienced tradesperson to join a leading manufacturer based in Adelaide's north-western suburbs. This is a permanent day shift position paying $50 per hour plus overtime with excellent long-term opportunities.

You'll play a key part in maintaining and improving the reliability of plant and equipment across a busy production site. Working with an employer who is committed to best practice in workplace health and safety, you'll contribute to keeping operations running efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Conduct diagnostic and fault-finding work to ensure equipment runs efficiently
• Manage spare parts and inventory, including ordering and stock control
• Support and deliver project or upgrade work as required
• Work towards achieving high performance and reliability targets (KPI's)
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety requirements

• Certificate IV in Mechanical Trade (or equivalent qualification)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing or production environment
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt across varied mechanical tasks
• Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and procedures
• Capable of managing priorities and meeting deadlines under pressure
• Restricted Electrical License (desirable)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Permanent full-time role - no short-term contracts
