Job Title: Production Operative ( Machine Operator )

gap-personnel are currently recruiting for perm role of Production Operative ( Machine Operative ) for one of the companies in Tewkesbury.
As a Machine Operative you will work in a busy production environment, to operate an enclosing machine to support the daily volume of work required to be dispatched on time and in full, meeting Client s service level agreements.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
- Set and operate enclosing machine following work orders and Client specific instructions.
- Support the daily production volume in line with Client service level agreements and targets set.
- Manage all aspects of the machine enclosing process, ensuring stock is replenished in time and workload is planned effectively to maximise output.
- Adhere to company processes and checks in place quality, enclosing & dispatch.
- Report any issues whether print quality, machine or stock to Management
- Successful candidate will have pro-active approach and will work closely with planning and production managers to understand and action the daily dispatch plan to ensure the daily SLA is achieved. Will also have a positive can do attitude by providing effective commitment for holiday or absence cover in goods in and goods out teams.
Working shifts and hours
- 37.5 Monday to Friday 7-3, 3-11, 11-7 ( Rotational shift )
