The company
Our client, one of the UK s leading food manufacturers based in Greater Manchester supplies premium quality products to United Kingdom retailers, food service and industrial markets.
Due to continued growth they now seek to recruit an upbeat Machine Minder/Trainer at their state of the site based in Greater Manchester.
The role
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will be a key member of the production team where your actions will directly impact our clients overall site performance.
In order to maintain the efficiency of the production lines, you will combine your technical competence with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to lead and initiate change.
You will be be responsible for a designated area, driving performance to meet, maintain and exceed quality, food safety, cost, service and safety measures, bring equipment back to standard when identified and complete running and stopped preventative maintenance along with mechanical set-up assessments.
The person
Working for this highly dynamic and modern forward thinking business, we seek an individual who has strong communication, process and improvement skills, ideally mechanically bias and have experience working in the FMCG industry.
