Seddiqi Holding is looking for a Logistics Operative who will be part of our Logistics and Warehousing team and provide an accurate and prompt receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.

• Undertakes receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with the Standard Operating Procedures and ensures that goods are correctly labeled, bar coded and located within the warehouse.
• Ensures that all in bound and out bound delivery information is accurately keyed into the company systems.
• Completes necessary documentation upon receipt or delivery of goods in an accurate and prompt manner and updates the system accordingly.
• Checks and inspects goods received and ensures they are of accurate quantity, reference, and quality. Promptly reports damages, discrepancies, or any unresolved issues to the Line Manager.
• Ensures the safe and efficient handling, loading, delivery and collection of goods.
• Carries out stock and inventory control and ensures proper maintenance of records of deliveries / collections and transfers.
• Ensures the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and always follows company standards.

• High School or equivalent
• Good verbal and written communication in English
