Logistics Coordinator (Temporary contract) Logistics Coordinator (Temporary contract)

Reporting to the Senior Logistics Analyst, the incumbent will coordinate Logistics Operations for the MEA region on a temporary basis. This includes ownership of the order-to-fulfillment cycle. The goal is to ensure seamless operations across various channels.

Essential Functions:

To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must excel at these core responsibilities: Order Entry - Order Fulfillment - Customer Service and must be able to proactively coordinate and monitor the supply chain operations for the region.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Order entry in ERP system.
  • Preparing, routing, and managing purchase orders to vendors.
  • Contacting Shipping companies/ forwarders for improved freight rates.
  • Coordinating daily logistics operations.
  • Working with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinating with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
  • Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare, review and dispatch shipping documents (invoice, packing list, certificate of origin/ customs documents.)
  • Tracking and monitoring the status of shipments.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with min 5 years of experience in Logistics preferably in a manufacturing / freight forwarding company.
  • Experience in handling import -export shipments and documentation
  • Experience with ERP system, preferably Oracle
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience in Letter of Credit (LC)

  • Strong team player with the ability to build relationships for improved results.
