Field Operator will monitor the operation parameters of the system locally and coordinate with the CCR Operator regarding all activities affecting operation. Responsible for the safe start-up/shut down of the plant as per Standard Operating Procedures. Quick response during emergency operations is required.

Responsibilities include:

• Comply with safety rules and regulations. Be familiar with fire equipment in the area. Follow instructions from the Shift Supervisor and CCR Operator.
• Be familiar with plant P&IDs, SOPs, work instructions, control logics, emergency procedures, and related documents.
• Monitor all parameters locally and record periodic readings. Summarize activities/events during the shift in the logbook.
• Inspect the area and auxiliaries to ensure equipment parameters are within limits. Report abnormalities to the CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor.
• Perform equipment changeovers according to schedules. Raise work requests or defect notes for faulty equipment.
• Coordinate with CCR Operator/Shift Supervisor for isolating and lining up equipment before and after maintenance. Maintain tidiness and clean up after maintenance.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in training and familiarization of new operators.
• Report near misses and implement risk controls.

Health, Safety, Security & Environment:

• Adhere to all health, safety, security, and environmental procedures and controls to ensure safety and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Requirements:

• Technical Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in field operations, specifically in RO Water desalination units.

• Knowledge of plant equipment and field operations.
• Experience as a local operator in Water Desalination Plants such as RO, MSF, or MED.
• Awareness of HSE & quality standards.
• Understanding of plant processes and equipment.
• Knowledge of waste identification, classification, and disposal.
• Familiarity with firefighting equipment.
• Teamwork, collaboration skills, and embracing innovation.
• Integrity and respect.
• Well-versed in RO Water Plant operations.
