LHH is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to support 4-5 attorneys in handling complex, high-exposure civil litigation cases in Texas district courts and county courts at law. This role involves working closely with attorneys from case inception to post-trial, with a focus on proactive case management and trial preparation.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with attorneys on written discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, pretrial, and trial preparation in high-exposure litigation

  • Obtain and analyze medical records using depositions, subpoenas, and investigative techniques

  • Prepare and maintain medical chronologies, billing summaries, and expert witness logs

  • Manage intake and organization of case files from other law firms with imminent deadlines and trial settings

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with attorneys, legal assistants, and paralegals on the same cases

  • Meet an annual billable hour goal of 1440 by submitting daily entries with compliant descriptions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree, paralegal certificate, or relevant job experience required

  • Extensive experience handling complex civil litigation cases in a law firm setting

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and iManage

  • Strong trial experience is a plus
