Legal Secretary

Charterhouse is working with a prestigious law firm who have offices in strategic locations around the Gulf. Our client caters for corporate clients across the board with specialist lawyers covering a range of diverse industries. They are looking to hire a highly motivated Legal Secretary to urgently join their team.

You will assist each department of this boutique firm by typing correspondence, formatting legal documents, maintaining diaries as well as preparing invoices and new client files electronically. You will also assist other members of staff with the overflow of work when required.

You should have a flexible approach, strong organisational skills, be proactive and work well within a team. You should also have experience of audio typing with a typing speed of at least 60WPM and have the ability to work to frequent deadlines.

You should hold a bachelors Degree, diploma or secretarial certificate obtained from an accredited western University as well as have excellent English communication skills and already be based in the UAE.

It is essential that you are familiar with all the Microsoft Office packages and have a minimum of two years professional secretarial experience in a law firm. You should also be adaptable, proactive, flexible and have an eye for detail.
