Litigation Secretary
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: Up to $35 per hour.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time, Hybrid (3 Days Onsite)
LHH is working with a prestigious law firm in Phoenix, AZ in seeking a Litigation Secretary to support the firm's attorneys and provide exceptional service to clients and business partners. This position requires strong litigation experience, proactive self-management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player, eager to contribute and grow with the firm.
Responsibilities:
Support litigation attorneys with case management and administrative tasks.
Prepare, format, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court dates and deadlines.
Arrange travel and prepare expense reports for attorneys.
Assist with trial preparation including organizing exhibits and coordinating logistics.
Maintain and organize case files and document management systems.
Coordinate with other administrative staff for group support and provide backup coverage as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a legal environment.
Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Intermediate/Advanced working knowledge of Outlook and legal document management systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
An Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or Secretarial Certificate is preferred.
