Our client, a multinational company, is looking for a Legal Manager to be based in Dubai.
Functions and ResponsibilitiesAll aspects of corporate legal affairs as the company's legal officer:
- Governance for company organization / operations
- Consideration for external legal counsel utilization / communication with them
- Communication with Legal department of Head Office
- Point of contact for tasks mentioned in "2.Job Description"
Monitoring Export Control Systems:
- Ensure compliance with export control policies and the export control laws of each country.
- Coordinating with each department and providing operational support when laws or company rules change.
- Review of contracts for mining business
- Review of distributorship agreements and other essential contracts required for company operations
- Review of powers of attorney for office operations
- Support for notarisation procedures
- Execution of internal compliance-related duties
- Implementation of internal training and handling of internal whistleblowing cases
- Review contracts or provide legal support as required, while each entity primarily utilises local legal firms.
- Secretariat of the board of directors, handling litigation matters, and other legal affairs.
- Qualification as lawyer (regardless of the country/state issued).
