The Package: $1,370.95 - $1,514.87 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 8 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). Full-time - 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply. Join our Transport Maintenance team and take charge of projects that make our streets safer, more accessible, and positively impact the community.

• Supervise and support the maintenance of Council footpaths across Queanbeyan and surrounding areas.
• Oversee and assist with construction and maintenance projects, including roads, drainage, concrete, and timber structures.
• Participate in the delivery of worksite traffic control, placement of signs and checking of existing signage.
• Operate and ensure proper maintenance of Council vehicles and equipment.

• Relevant experience in a similar role of construction and maintenance.
• Proven ability of effectively supervise staff to complete activities within an agreed time period.
• Possesses a current MR driver's license, and Work Zone Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Guidance Plan accreditations are essential.
