Our client (a fast-growing SME manufacturing company) is seeking a hands-on IT Lead / Systems Administrator for a contract role. Acting as the organization's IT head, this role will oversee day-to-day IT operations, manage the existing Oracle NetSuite environment, and directly implement practical solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen process controls.

• Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, laptops, and end-user hardware/software, ensuring reliability and security.
• Act as administrator for Oracle NetSuite (Finance & Procurement modules) - maintaining configurations, supporting users, troubleshooting issues, and driving adoption.
• Implement cost-efficient improvements such as host-to-host integration between NetSuite and bank systems for payments and reconciliations, smart scanning solutions for invoices, cheques, and other documents, and streamlining processes to reduce manual work and error risk.
• Support ongoing implementations and integrations (e.g., HRMS platforms, other enterprise applications).
• Work closely with leadership to capture business needs and translate them into practical IT solutions.
• Coordinate with external vendors for upgrades, integrations, and specialized support.
• Ensure IT governance, data security, and business continuity are maintained.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and user support, ensuring minimal downtime.
