Job SummaryLead Planner - Oil & Gas, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role supports a newly awarded offshore project, coordinating all planning activities, ensuring schedules, milestone compliance, and proactive risk management.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain baseline and revised schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre Commissioning, and Commissioning phases.
- Assist the Project Controls Manager in developing reports, registers, and procedures for planning, progress measurement, and reporting.
- Review and update the project schedule, liaise with project teams to ensure accurate progress recording.
- Highlight schedule deviations to management and collaborate on delay analysis and claims preparation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress and budget reports, maintaining proper planning records.
- Participate in site coordination meetings, present schedule status, record suggested changes, and advise on impact.
- Support other planning related duties as assigned.
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including EPC projects above US$100 M.
- Experience with ADNOC or equivalent and direct involvement in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
- Previous employment with leading EPC contractors preferable.
- Capability to perform under stressful situations.
- Extensive planning, delay analysis, and schedule risk analysis experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule quality compliance.
- Fluency in English.
- Accurate scoping of tasks and objective setting, monitoring progress.
- Excellent cross functional collaboration and team building.
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and timely decision making.
- Demonstrated people management and leadership capabilities.
- Flexible, initiative driven, and results oriented.
