Position Summary:
We're looking for a reliable, organized, and experienced Lead Line Cook / Expo to join our kitchen team. This dual-role position is responsible for maintaining the quality and flow of food during service, ensuring dishes are prepared to spec, and coordinating the final plating and delivery of orders to the front-of-house.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the line during service, maintaining quality, speed, and accuracy
Manage the expo station: organize tickets, communicate clearly between kitchen and servers
Ensure all plates are properly garnished, completed, and meet presentation standards
Support and motivate line cooks, stepping into any station as needed
Communicate clearly and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
Assist with prep, inventory, and end-of-shift duties
Requirements:
1 years of line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen
Strong understanding of kitchen flow, timing, and ticket organization
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and work well with a team
Flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
