About the Role-

The Lead Business Application Analyst will act as the bridge between Business Operations, IT and Regulatory Compliance. The role involves gathering and analyzing business and regulatory requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications and ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of core banking, remittance and regulatory reporting applications in compliance with the Central Bank of UAE Guidelines.

• Oversee the lifecycle of core banking applications, Card management system application, web applications, Microsoft SharePoint, etc. including implementation, upgrades, integrations, and decommissioning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into functional and technical requirements and coordinate with Central Bank of UAE for any new requirements.
• Analyze and interpret new regulatory or compliance requirements from the Central Bank of the UAE, and coordinate with relevant internal teams and Central Bank representatives to ensure proper implementation.
• Analyze and improve workflows, ensuring applications support efficient and scalable operations.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for application support, licensing, and enhancements.
• Develop and execute test plans for new features, bug fixes, and system upgrades.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, configuration settings, and user guides.
• Ensure applications adhere to industry regulations (e.g., CBUAE Guidelines) and internal security policies.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of applications.
• Support data-driven decision-making by enabling reporting and analytics capabilities within business applications.

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business/Application Analyst, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry or Money Exchange house.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, digital banking platforms, payment gateways, and regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and application lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Project management tools, Microsoft tools, Visio, etc) and knowledge on ERP/CRM systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project management or leading application enhancement initiatives is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
