MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The IVF Laboratory Clerk provides essential administrative and clerical support to the IVF Laboratory team by managing records, coordinating patient-related documentation, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of laboratory data. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency by supporting embryologists and laboratory staff with timely documentation, data entry, and communication tasks. The IVF Laboratory Clerk contributes to the smooth operation of the IVF unit, ultimately supporting patient care and compliance with internal and external standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. Patient Record and Documentation Management

2:Data Entry and Laboratory System Updates

3. Clerical Support to Laboratory Staff

4. Coordination and Scheduling Support

5. Compliance and Confidentiality

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in healthcare administration or medical office management preferred.

DESIRED EDUCATION:

Certificate in Medical Terminology or Health Information Management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years of experience in healthcare administrative support or clerical role.

Experience in data entry, file management, and handling confidential medical records.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in an IVF or laboratory environment is highly desirable.

Experience with patient scheduling and lab record systems is an advantage.
