Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our team in Rixos Al Mairid at Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards.

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory

Qualifications Proficiency in operating various kitchen and laundry equipment; strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures; basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for kitchen and laundry equipment; excellent time management and multitasking abilities; strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards; physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods; ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; good communication and teamwork skills; food safety certification preferred; previous experience in kitchen or laundry operations, particularly in a hospitality or healthcare setting, is a plus; familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations is beneficial.
