Our client is an established family ran business that has become one of the biggest organic farming suppliers for over 80 years, who's main clientele are some of the largest UK retailers and ecommerce businesses.

Due to their continued growth and expansion, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to be the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts from a client base comprised of Major UK retailers and smaller ecommerce businesses; ensuring all SLA s and fulfilment targets are met.

As Key Account Manager you will:

  • Account management of up to 2 accounts within the client base spanning both major UK retailers and ecommerce business, supporting both branded and own-brand products
  • Building customer and internal relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Proactive identification of new business opportunities within the customer(s)
  • Delivering profitable growth for the account(s) over a sustained period
  • Accountable for ensuring commercial negotiations are aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Balance the customer requirements with those of the business to ensure both parties are maximising the relationship, including planning and coordinating price increases within the customer
  • Implementing new/ seasonal product launches at customer level
  • Driving visibility and accessibility of Stonegate products within assigned accounts
  • Working in conjunction with other functions (Operations, Technical, HR etc) Ensure the Company is meeting the ESG, Ethical and Customer Code of Practice obligations for each customer

The ideal candidate:

  • 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Hold a degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Extensive, dedicated commercial experience within own label and branded food manufacturing and work with the major supermarket retailers in the UK
  • Experience of customer visits, audits and food quality audits such as BRC
  • A confident leader with excellent leadership, strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders in order to achieve common goals through in-depth knowledge of negotiation strategies and risk/value analysis
  • High commercial acumen and numerical ability to facilitate effective decision making and the proactive management
  • Excellent organisation, presentation and project management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills
