Job Description
  • To commence Term 1, 2026
  • Part-time, term-time, ongoing position (working Monday to Friday)

We are seeking a professional and collaborative individual for the position of Junior School Librarian. This role is crucial in developing a love of learning through literature and inquiry based education. This role will work closely with teaching staff and students to provide a range of library services, resources and programs for the Junior School.

  • An experienced Librarian with a sound understanding of the academic needs of students.
  • Strong knowledge of Children's literature and ways to promote and foster a love or reading.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proven ability to work effectively, constructively and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency with Library Management Systems and other educational software.
