Title of the position: Janitorial Services Manager (NOC 60040).
Job duties:
Manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently by employees.
Plan and direct the business strategy and goals of the company.
Hire, train, manage, and motivate a high-performing team of employees dedicated to performing daily business functions and achieving company goals. Mentor employees on best practices in customer service and sales techniques, leading to increased performance levels.
Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, financial reporting, and tax preparation.
Enhance the operational efficiency and productivity of the business by managing budgets, accounts, and costs; and by managing inventory.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers for better pricing and terms, thereby reducing overall costs for the business.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, resulting in repeat business and new business referrals.
Deal with any client complaints and resolve any client problems.
Consult with clients to assess their needs and propose optimal solutions to them.
Terms of employment: Permanent and full-time.

Wage: $36.80 per hour.

Required education:
College diploma in management or a related field.
Required work experience and skills:
3 years of experience in the cleaning/janitorial services industry.
6 months of experience as a manager or 2 years of experience as a supervisor.
6 months of financial management experience, including experience with budgeting.financial reporting, tax preparation, accounts management, and cost reduction.
Exceptional communicator and project manager with a keen eye for detail.
Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple, competing priorities in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, focusing on process optimization and achieving team goals.
Client relationship management skills and experience. Operations management skills and experience.
Experience with negotiating contracts.
Training and mentorship skills and experience.
Experience with process improvement: enhancing operational efficiency and productivity.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification is preferred but not required.
