Job DescriptionBring connection and conversation to a fellow Italian speaker. We're looking for a friendly Italian-speaking volunteer to spend some time with a gentleman who enjoys gardening and watching the horse races. A weekday visit for a chat over a cup of coffee, to talk about the garden, racing, or life in general, would mean a great deal to him. If you enjoy good conversation, connection, and sharing a common language, this is a wonderful way to make a positive difference in someone's week.
Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
- One hour visits weekly or fortnightly between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. We will work with you to find a suitable time.
