Bidfood ME is one of the leading foodservice companies in the UAE and Middle East. We are looking for an Inventory Controller & Receiver. The ideal candidate's primary function is to maintain the labelling system on each stock item, manually manage inventory shelving with stock items received or returned.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure receiving schedule is received from the supply chain department before receiving stocks.
- Plan for space and pre-arrangements for receiving stocks in Frozen, Chilled and Ambient areas.
- Communicate with the forklift operator about new shipments and monitor the locations.
- Ensure stocks are received as per Purchase Order and specifications.
- Receive the product with correct LPO.
- Check the purchase order date.
- Ensure that the invoice matches the LPO.
- Verify authentic documents from supplier (invoice, packing list, B/L) as per IMPO or LPO.
- Document verification upon receipt.
- Make sure all information in the document is correct.
- Check that stock received is of the right quality, temperature, and packaging condition.
- At least 2 years experience in inventory.
- Computer literacy - must be able to record stock receipts accurately.
- A quick learner with a good attitude to excel in storage and movement of goods.
