International BD (JD STAR Graduate Program)

The JD STAR Program, launched by in 2015, is an annual recruitment initiative targeting fresh graduates from top universities worldwide. It nurtures talent by placing high potential graduates in roles that support 's fast growing business and provides extensive training and coaching.

The International BD Team, started in December 2023, supports 's expansion across international markets. The team currently has three members: Amanda Thirsk (Head, London), Ellie Nye (VP, London) and Noémie de Dianous (VP, Paris). Its core roles are: developing 's presence in targeted markets, building strategic relationships, engaging with brands, and strengthening partnerships.

• Target international brands across various industries to expand the Group's retail product portfolio.
• Engage with internal China based business teams to develop opportunities, narrative and pitch materials for the Business Development Team.
• Partner with international trade organisations, chambers of commerce and other stakeholders to identify and engage prospective clients.
• Support the development and growth of International Business Development activities.
• Identify, evaluate and progress partnership opportunities for 's businesses.
• Conduct industry and competitive research to inform the Group's strategic decisions.
• Provide general administrative support, including organising meetings, scheduling and coordinating office logistics.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and timely task completion.

• Bachelor level student.
• Strong doer with a hands on mindset and proven ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross cultural environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Fluency in English.
