POSITION SUMMARY
The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor is the designated Safety Officer of the Hyperbaric program as required by NFPA and TJC. The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor is responsible for the overall safe operation of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) program on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor utilizes critical thinking skills to coordinate and ensure that safe quality care is being provided to the patients. The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor maintains best practice by monitoring compliance through the performance improvement process. They serve as a resource to guide, educate and orient in the department in collaboration with other departments. The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor demonstrates willingness to provide direct patient care and other duties as assigned.
