Genus has been awarded key infrastructure works across major mining operations including Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) - Eliwana Mine Site - Design, construction, and commissioning of approximately 41 kilometres of underground and overhead power distribution infrastructure. These projects form part of a broader program of works to modernise and expand essential mining infrastructure across Western Australia.

We are looking for committed HSE Advisors to join our site teams and drive safe, compliant delivery of complex infrastructure works. You'll be instrumental in shaping on-site safety culture, ensuring adherence to best practices, and supporting the project through all phases of construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide site-based SHEQ leadership and support to project and construction teams
- Drive compliance with relevant HSE legislation, systems, and procedures
- Lead and support safety initiatives and promote a strong safety-first culture
- Conduct incident investigations, assist with reporting, and implement corrective actions
- Communicate safety requirements clearly across all levels of the workforce
- Participate in site set-up and ongoing safety assessments, with a hands-on approach
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a SHEQ role, preferably in mining or civil infrastructure
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety or related discipline
- Solid working knowledge of WHS legislation relevant to mining and construction
- Experience working with or around underground and overhead services
- Previous experience working on RIO /FMG or BHP sites advantageous
- ICAM Lead Investigator experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Trade background desirable
- Confident working in a dynamic, remote site environment with a proactive, team-focused attitude
- Current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence
- Must have work rights in Australia
