We are seeking a proactive and hands on HR Generalist to join our client in Abu Dhabi. This is an individual contributor position where you will own the full HR function, working closely with operations leadership to support a diverse, front line workforce including housekeeping, culinary, transport/ drivers, security, and administrative staff. The role is primarily office based with occasional site visits, requiring flexibility and strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end to end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, HRIS management, attendance/ rosters, and leave administration.
- Oversee employee relations matters: investigations, counseling, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolution with fairness and discretion.
- Handle PRO and immigration activities: medicals, Emirates ID, visa renewals, and related documentation.
- Coordinate monthly payroll through WPS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support staff welfare initiatives and oversee accommodation and related services.
- Implement HR policies, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to UAE Labour Law and internal compliance standards.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees on HR matters, providing guidance and support.
- 4-8 years of HR generalist experience, ideally within hospitality, facilities management, logistics, manufacturing, or other workforce heavy industries.
- Strong background in employee relations with the ability to manage sensitive matters independently and confidentially.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard office hours when required by business needs.
- Comfortable working independently in a stand alone HR role for a small workforce population.
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Flexibility required for occasional after hours or weekend support depending on operational needs.
