Our client, a well-established organization in Madison, WI, is seeking a highly organized and dependable Temporary HR Assistant to support their Human Resources team during a peak period. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to gain or expand experience in HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with onboarding tasks including preparing new hire paperwork and scheduling orientations

  • Maintain employee records and ensure all files are accurate and up to date

  • Support benefits administration by responding to employee inquiries and coordinating documentation

  • Help coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates as needed

  • Assist with HR reporting and data entry into HRIS systems

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including calendar management and meeting preparation

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role required

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, normal business hours

Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Temporary (Estimated 3-4 months)
