Restaurant Hot & Cold Side Technician
Checkmate pizza, one of the largest Domino's franchises in the United States, has over 80 locations in the Southeast market. We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Hot & Cold Technician with 3 years of experience to join our fast-paced team. This position requires technical skills to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment. In addition, the Technician must possess an awareness and understanding of how to work safely while performing facilities and equipment repairs as well as preventative maintenance on all our restaurant equipment.
Shift - Full Time, Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, some weekends, and rotating "On-Call" duty with other techs
Compensation/Benefits - $30-40/hour, Paid Weekly, Company Vehicle, Health Insurance, Dental, Paid time off
Responsibilities
The role requires troubleshooting and repairing both hot and cold side commercial kitchen equipment (stand up & low boy coolers, makeline coolers, XLT & Middleby Marshall conveyer style ovens etc.).
Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory.
Communicate with manufacturers as needed to assist with diagnoses and parts identification.
Partner with unit managers to offer solutions and timelines that work for the business and the team.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred
Minimum 3 years' experience with commercial cooking equipment & refrigeration
Basic level computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets
Previous experience with service apps such as Corrigo, Service Channel or Titan
EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, Contra
RETA / NATE certification preferred
Other Requirements
