Seeking experienced Advanced Practitioners (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) for Hospitalist Program at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Join team of over 30 providers. Position is full time, 7 on/7 off night schedule. Subject to non-traditional hours as needed. West TN Healthcare employment with salary, full benefit package, malpractice covered and CME Allowance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to (under the direction of the attending physician):
Admission history & physical examinations
- Follow up hospital visits with daily progress notes
Discharge plans
No need for procedures, limited ICU coverage
Experience/Education Requirements:
Master s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Tennessee License required
At least 3 years experience in Acute Care, ICU or ER Preferred.
