South Bend offers an ideal location between major metropolitan areas of Chicago and Detroit, with proximity to the prestigious University of Notre Dame. The area provides easy access to Lake Michigan (just 30-45 minutes away), combining urban amenities with beautiful natural surroundings.

Facility:
This is a well-established hospital featuring a Level III NICU and Perinatal Center with a Level II trauma center. The facility is equipped with MedFlight capabilities and a specialized Maternal OB transport team. The labor and delivery unit includes 10 birthing suites with approximately 2,000 annual deliveries, averaging 3 deliveries per 24-hour shift.

Board Certified - OB/GYN Hospitalist

Job Details:
• 24-hour shifts providing OB Hospitalist care (option for 12-hour shifts available)
• Work collaboratively with outstanding neonatologists and maternal fetal medicine physicians
• Engage with Obsterix MFM physicians to provide quality care for antepartum and intrapartum high-risk patients
• Collaborate with a robust Certified Nurse Midwife practice of 7 providers
• Coordinate care with Pediatrix Neonatology physicians for optimal neonatal outcomes
• Participate in teaching activities and other clinical activities associated with the OB Hospitalist program
• Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Indiana license or active IMLC compact eligibility preferred
• Minimum of 1-year post-residency experience required
• Recent clinical OBGYN experience required (within the last 12 months)

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
