HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

PAY INCREASE- £14 PER HOUR

We are a well established family run business with over 40 years in the quarrying business.

Due to continued company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for professional and committed class 2 tipper drivers who are looking for stability of employment and with a history of good attendance and reliability to join our team, based at our Leyland depot.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy trucks to transport aggregates, stone materials to various locations.
Ensure timely delivery while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
Communicate effectively with the transport office, dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.
A strong understanding of all relevant, Health & Safety legislation associated with the role

Requirements

Hold a clean, Class C licence
Hold a valid CPC Card
Hold a valid Digital Tachograph card
