City Venue Management is a facility management company managing Aquatic Centres & Health Clubs stretching from Sydney through to Townsville, we currently operate 42 sites and continue to grow and develop with each passing day. Our purpose 'creatingexperiences that delight and engage'.

About The RoleCome join the Rackley Swim team at Chermside. Home to a vibrant aquatic precinct with indoor pools and popular water play and leisure areas, this centre attracts a diverse mix of families and swimmers year round.
We are seeking a Head Coach with the experience and passion to build a holistic swim program that supports swimmers of all ages and abilities, strengthens pathways from Learn to Swim through to Squad, and brings energy and leadership to a high volume, community focused environment.
This position is casual with opportunity to be permanent for the right candidate.
A day in the life of- Managing and Growing the Squad Program at the centre inclusive of program design and budget
- Development and oversight of training programs for swimmers from junior to state/national level squads
- Working closely with the Swim school team to encourage skill development of swimmers and teachers and progression of swimmers to Squad training
- Forming relationships with the community, parents and children within the centre
- Attending and encouraging swimmers to attend club nights and promote joining the Rackley Swim team to compete in Brisbane, State, and National level Competitions.
- Attending local/national meets
- Working closely and collaborating with head coaches across our other Brisbane pools, other squad sites, and the management team across CVM
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can build and balance the multifaceted nature of the role. Key traits and experience are seeking include:
- Experience in Coaching at all levels
- Demonstrated ability in building a successful and sustainable program working closely with centre management and Learn to Swim Leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with swimmers and stakeholders and take them on a journey to their personal best.
- Leadership and collaboration skills, willingness to engage with coaches from all Rackley sites to continue to grow Rackley Swim team participation and performance.
- Strong communication skills, strategic vision and commercial skills.
The qualifications required for this role are:
- Development Swimming Coach Accreditation
- Lifeguard Qualification
- Current Blue Card
- Current CPR
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check
