Join Our Team as a Guest Ambassador at Rombauer Vineyards!
We are seeking an enthusiastic and welcoming Guest Ambassador to be the first point of contact for our valued visitors. In this role, you will ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction, delivered with graciousness, pride, fun, and company spirit. With a professional and welcoming demeanor, you will greet all guests, including those with reservations and walk-up visitors, guiding them to the best possible experience to fit their needs while keeping overall daily availability in mind. You will manage the flow of traffic and act as a resource for your teammates.
As a Guest Ambassador, you will greet and check in all visitors, curate their experience to meet their special needs, and accurately track reservations and customer information. You will manage seating for all guests, ensuring appropriate tables are reserved and signs are placed. You may also pour guests an opening splash when appropriate and ensure they understand the property layout and experience.
Your role includes constant communication with other guest ambassadors, bar backs, wine educators, and management to ensure a smooth flow of tables and reservations. You will provide general tourist information, handle reservation management, take orders, schedule reservations, respond to inquiries, and perform daily sales using the POS system. Additionally, you will report guest feedback to managers and occasionally perform data entry in support of wine club or web sales.
You will also support tasting and tour areas, assist with retail sales, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure guest bathrooms are clean and stocked. You will operate the By the Glass station, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the correct wines are packaged with appropriate POS materials.

What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 1 year of hospitality, customer service or event support experience.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Skilled in carrying-out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Required to be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Required to work holidays, evenings and weekend's (Saturday and Sunday) at various hours. Work schedule subject to change based on needs of the business.
- Experience in a team-oriented environment.
- Skilled in conflict resolution.
- Lift and move up to 45 lbs.
- Associates degree; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of hospitality, customer service or event support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience in wine industry.
- Experience in Point of Sale (Commerce 7 and Tock) systems.

- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
- This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires working on-site with no telecommuting option. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.
