About the Program

For over 20 years, the ANL & CMA CGM Graduate and Co Op Program has launched the careers of talented graduates across the Oceania region. Our program offers a unique mix of real world experience, mentoring, and development, helping you build both the technical and professional skills to thrive in a fast paced global industry.

During the 12 month program, you'll:

  • Rotate across key business areas to build broad, hands on experience.
  • Access world class learning resources and career development programs.
  • Participate in networking and mentoring opportunities.
  • Be supported by a dedicated program coordinator and an encouraging team environment.

For the right candidate, this program can be the start of a global career, opening doors to exciting opportunities across logistics, supply chain, operations, sales, and beyond.

Work Location: South Wharf, Melbourne

Available Roles Operations Graduate

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Support Liner, Agency Operations, and Logistics activities to ensure smooth operational outcomes.
  • Apply academic knowledge to develop practical, hands on industry experience.
  • Provide assistance to both internal and external customers.

Reporting to the National Sales Director Australia, the key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Provide analytical, administrative, and general sales support across all sales functions.
  • Manage a portfolio of ANL/CMA digitalised accounts, monitoring performance and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Assist the Sales Director and State Managers with special projects and initiatives.
Customer Care Graduate

Reporting to the Customer Care Director, you will gain exposure to and contribute across all Customer Care teams, including:

  • Premier, Advanced, Standard & Premium Products & Services (PPS)
  • Import & Export Service Delivery
  • Cargo Readiness & Bookings
  • Customer Experience
Line Commercial Graduate

Reporting to the Head of Line Commercial Desk, the key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Administer ANL container demurrage and detention charges across all ANL trade lanes.
  • Ensure timely preparation and completion of reports, analyses, and statistical studies in line with departmental requirements and deadlines.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as required.
About you
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • You're an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
  • You have an analytical and problem solving mindset, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
  • You're proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and adapt quickly to new systems and tools.
  • You're highly organised and self motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Eligibility: You must have full working rights to live and work in Australia for the entire program duration. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship and remote work from overseas are not available.
