Job DescriptionBeauty parlour and pamper session at Woy Woy!
You will help to provide companionship while pampering residents with gentle touch and an opportunity for connection and conversation. Spend time with residents talking and listening to their stories, or enjoy calming relaxation music together. Training will be provided in gentle hand massage and simple nail care (such as filing or nail polish).

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and for yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
Requirements18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • Commitment of one hour per week for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday).
