Anchor Church Sydney was planted in May 2014 in a warehouse theatre in the creative heart of Sydney's Inner West. Our call is to do whatever it takes to help the wayward find home, and we are committed to helping the emerging generations find home in Jesus.

We are seeking a passionate leader for our children's and generations ministry. Anchor Church (City) has around 50 children in our growing church family, and we are passionate about helping families make little disciples of Jesus.

Reporting to the Lead Pastor, the Generations Pastor has primary responsibility for our Sunday morning kids program. They will recruit, support, and train our kids volunteers. They will seek to further develop mid-week programs and missional opportunities. Working in partnership with parents, the Generations Pastor will ensure safe, fun, and engaging discipleship environments exist across our church.

• A love for young people and their growth as followers of Jesus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with parents
• Healthy emotional intelligence and self-awareness
• Demonstrated ability to make big theological concepts simple
• Proven ability to effectively lead/ develop leaders and motivate volunteers
• Current WWCC & police background check.
• Theological qualifications
• Experience in curriculum development and delivery

The role is a part-time permanent position (3 days, incl. Sundays) commencing January 2026. Workdays are flexible but Sundays are essential to the role. Remuneration will be according to our remuneration guidelines and in accordance with experience and training.
