Job Description
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all work follows safe work practices and procedures.
- Respond immediately to all work requests concerning Health and Safety.
- Respond to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate, maintain, and repair all water works and steam generation related equipment.
- Operate, maintain, and repair LP gas systems/equipment for storage, delivery, and usage.
- Ensure the optimum performance of all plumbing-related equipment by effectively following the preventive maintenance and shift readings programs.
- Evaluate and appropriately respond to equipment usage and energy efficiency.
- Complete all work orders with due diligence.
o Maintain a daily log book highlighting problems, solutions, and activities.
o Maintain plumbing shop drawings.
o Maintain equipment catalog and tagging directories.
o Actively participate in the monthly departmental meetings by providing feedback and offering suggestions for improvement.
Complete tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer.JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Maintain health and safety documentation and records for the assigned area.Report and document potential safety hazards.Participate as directed in the emergency response team.Qualifications
High School graduate, with related technical or trades certification.
Additional Information
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Proficient in plumbing, pipe, and gas fitting repair and maintenance, plus basic knowledge of one other building operations skill set.Able to use all general repair tools, read shop drawings and specifications, and make rough estimates of required materials.Capable of working independently with good interpersonal skills.Possess a creative, practical, and proactive approach to problem solving.Energetic and dynamic personality.- Share this job:
