Join Sofitel and lead our flagship Laguna Beach Taverna & Lounge, part of Sofitel Dubai The Palm - a 5 star beachfront resort on Palm Jumeirah. Santorini inspired rooms, elegant French touches, and a thriving culinary scene create a welcoming, upscale environment for guests and staff alike.
Job Description- Ensure the highest level of service to Sofitel guests while adhering to service standards to achieve service excellence.
- Drive employee satisfaction, cost control, and revenue management within the department.
- Meet monthly forecasted food and beverage revenue targets.
- Assist in formulating the Annual Operating Budget, determining projected revenues and expenses, and aligning with the Annual Business Plan.
- Manage team responsibilities, assess performance, and support growth.
- Support day to day operations of outlets and banquets when required.
- Plan weekly roster and work schedules for the outlets.
- Liaise with Kitchen and Beverage departments on daily operations and quality.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage on market trend analysis, sales plans, promotional activities, and advertising campaigns.
- Plan and organize festive food promotions; produce P&L statements for promotional nights and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all outlets, front of house and heart of house.
- Implement guidelines, policies, and procedures in accordance with Sofitel standards.
- Apply Sofitel Food & Beverage rituals consistently.
- Develop departmental trainers and assign training responsibilities.
- Conduct appraisals, identify, and develop young talent for future growth.
- Strong understanding and experience of hotel operations in a multicultural environment.
- High drive for results; adaptable, flexible, and skilled at building relationships.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and detail orientation.
- Superior guest relations, problem solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Working knowledge of Micros.
- At least five years' experience in a related field (hotel restaurant management preferred).
Experience supervising employees is required. - Hospitality experience is preferred.
