Job Summary:
Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC is seeking a Surgical Services Adavanced Practice Provider to join a busy and growing surgical practice.Qualified Candidates:
- Completion of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program with appropriate certification exams
- Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board
- BLS, ACLS certification required
- Gastroenterology APP experience preferred; and/or General Surgery clinical rotations
Position Highlights:
- Will be responsible for office procedures as they pertain to General Surgery surgical services
- Schedule: Monday Friday 8 am 4:30 pm
- Must possess excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Clinic responsibilities include seeing new and follow-up patients as well as triaging calls
About Angel Medical Center:
- 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with ICU and surgical suites
- Angel Medical Center has been named an Acute Stroke Ready hospital by the Joint Commission and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association
- Outpatient services include wound clinic, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy, as well as surgical and endoscopy services
