Level I Trauma center near Denver is seeking a BC Gastroenterologist to help fill in the call schedule beginning in February 2025

7a-7a 24hr call shifts
Open dates include Feb 20 (7a) - Mar 1 (7a) and May 19 (7a) - 26 (7a)
Ongoing dates will begin July 2025 and will not be released until Mid Jan 2025
To be considered, providers must have availability for these stretches
Required Procedures/Job duties: Scoping, ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleed, Evaluation of GI problems.
Admissions, 8-10 new patients & follow ups. 5-8 scopes per day. No admissions, GI is just a consult service.
24/7 intensivists & hospitalists at site.24/7 Trauma Services at site.
EMR: EPIC
1-2 weeks for Emergency Privileges, otherwise -day credentialing time frame
Compensation $2750+, per 24 hrs, including 8 hrs gratis. $350+/hr call back. Holiday rates 1.5x rate. Orientation rate is $175/hr
