Your day to day

• Prepare monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
• Prepare and review the Balance Sheet reconciliation.
• Implement and drive the internal audit procedures within the hotel.
• Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Provide financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
• Prepare and submit the Rolling Forecast, Month end Financial data through EFPM to EMEA as per the due dates.
• Prepare and submit the monthly financial report for Ownco.
• Guide all accounts staff on accounting standards and procedures.
• Prepare all monthly financial reports (cost control, bank reconciliation, etc.), cash reports and miscellaneous reports.
• Spot check inventory counts.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and the Balance Sheet.
• Make accruals of the Open Purchase Order Report from MC system before month end.
• Update knowledge with current financial regulations and IHG policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the Employees' Code of Conduct and the Hotel's policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
• Promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and a high standard of social skills.
• Promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
• Assist Finance and Business Support Manager with presentations and chair meetings in their absence.

What We Need From You

• 5 years related experience including at least 2 years in the same capacity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience and ability to develop leading strategies to drive for best results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• High level of common sense and strong problem solving, reasoning, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Drive for results to outperform competition.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Degree from a university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver voco service standards.
• A true team-player mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks.
