Hays Senior Finance is working exclusively with a fast-growing, forward-thinking company that have a clear vision and exciting expansion plans. This manufacturing business is a well-established company, who have a global presence.
Your new role
The job of the Financial Accountant will be a varied one. Ideally, they are seeking a part-qualified or finalist who is looking to complete their finance qualifications.
Duties for the job include:
- Preparation of month end, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Variance analysis
- Forecasting
- Producing monthly management accounts, including, profit and loss and balance sheet
- Intercompany accounts
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting in producing month-end reports and analysis to ensure the business can meet its objective and set performance targets
- Reviewing costs, cash and revenue forecasts
- Producing presentations to review the companies' monthly and quarterly performance
- Fixed asset depreciation
- Preparing capex reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the annual external audit
- Assisting with budget preparations
- Assisting with year-end reporting
The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified or finalist accountant studying either, the CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification. They will be comfortable working in a varied accounts role and will be keen to complete their studies.
