Role Summary:This role supports a major finance systems transformation programme, contributing to the design and implementation of new processes and systems. The successful candidate will work across multiple finance workstreams, lead projects, and act as a finance business partner to stakeholders across the organisation. The role is dynamic and will evolve based on programme priorities, offering exposure to a wide range of strategic and operational finance initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to define and document finance requirements.
- Drive process improvements with a focus on standardisation, automation, and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams to support integrated solutions.
- Represent finance in cross-functional working groups and governance forums.
- Deliver high-quality project management from planning through to implementation.
- Provide insight and challenge to support decision-making and change adoption.
- Qualified accountant or equivalent senior-level finance experience.
- Strong background in financial and management accounting, with broad process knowledge.
- Proven track record in finance systems implementation and process change.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and influence strategic decisions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with SAP (including S/4HANA, Business Warehouse, Business Objects).
- Project management qualifications.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
