Field Operator - 1Hassyan Power Plant is in close coordination with the CCRO. The role involves operating valves, dampers, and equipment, checking plant conditions, and isolating equipment for maintenance.
Control Room Operations- Support CCRO in system configuration for local line-up and equipment isolation.
- Monitor and record local parameters such as levels, pressure, and temperatures of equipment, bearings, lube oils, etc.
- Observe plant condition through sound, vibrations, and heat; report abnormalities to CCR.
- Report leakages of steam, water, oil, coal, ash, fuel gas, flue gas, and air.
- Manually operate valves, dampers, and equipment.
- Ensure proper positioning of piping hangers and supports.
- Check safety valves, PRVs, and report issues to CCR.
- Document shift activities and events in logbooks and log sheets.
- Adhere to SOPs.
- Switch controls from automatic to manual and isolate equipment safely for repairs.
- Adjust and control valves to regulate system operations.
- Report accidents and suggest preventive measures.
- Provide first-line support for fire and emergency situations, keeping CCR informed.
- Report unsafe conditions and acts to authorities.
- Participate proactively in team activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by shift engineer or CCR operator.
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years in operations, preferably in O&M of power plants.
- Technical Diploma in Engineering.
- 3-5 years experience in control room operations within the power sector.
