Geelong Grammar School is seeking a passionate and experienced Full Time Farm Manager to take the reins of our vibrant school farm. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands on agricultural leadership with meaningful educational impact-shaping both the land and young minds.

The Farm Manager is a hands on role where you will perform daily operations of our farm, ensuring excellence in animal welfare, land management, and sustainable farming practices. You'll also play a key role in supporting our Agriculture and Land Management Curriculum, working closely with educators to bring learning to life through real world farming experiences.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the outdoors, leads with purpose, and is excited to mentor the next generation of agricultural leaders.

• Inspire students by delivering practical, curriculum aligned farming demonstrations.
• Lead livestock operations, including calving, lambing, vaccinations, and show preparation.
• Champion sustainability through land regeneration, water management, and eco friendly practices.
• Maintain and improve farm infrastructure, machinery, and safety standards.
• Drive the Farm Plan, aligning operations with long term educational and environmental goals.
• Collaborate and communicate with staff, students, and the wider school community.
• Mentor and manage the Farmhand and support a culture of continuous improvement.

• Proven experience experience in best practice farming management
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Practical knowledge of animal husbandry and horticulture.
• Confidence operating farm machinery and using agricultural software.
• A genuine passion for education and working with young people.

• Tertiary or trade qualification in agriculture or a related field.
• Chemical handling certification and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in educational settings and horticulture is highly regarded.
