Medical Director Family Medicine (Full-Time, Alaska)
Salary: $300,000 annually + sign-on bonus + full relocation package

Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to serve as Medical Director for two community-based clinics in Kenai and Soldotna, Alaska. This is a rare leadership opportunity to combine clinical care with program oversight in a collaborative, team-based environment.

This role has been vacant for over a year due to recruitment challenges tied to relocation. We are seeking a physician who is excited about practicing in Alaska and making a long-term impact on the community.
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts weekly (M Th or Tue Fri)
Workload: 60% administrative / 40% clinical
Clinical Work: Full-scope outpatient primary care including:
Management of chronic conditions (diabetes, COPD, CHF, etc.)
Minor procedures (mole excisions, joint injections, fracture/cast management, suturing, toenail removal)
Women s health (IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal)
Behavioral health (depression, anxiety) and pain management (including Suboxone)
Administrative Duties: Oversight of the Primary Care Department, including:
Medical protocols, peer reviews, and quality assurance programs
Policy/procedure implementation and program integration
Provider credentialing, privileging, and new hire interviews
Compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local regulations
Training, performance improvement, and population health initiatives
Support: 8 total physicians on staff, plus RNs and medical techs.
RequirementsBoard Certification in Family Medicine (MD/DO required)
BLS certification
Alaska medical license (must obtain within 90 days; agency reimburses)
DEA (CSR for Suboxone TBD)
Experience in both clinical and administrative roles preferred
Salary: $300,000 annually
