We are thrilled to invite applications for the Facility Manager role at Beenleigh Aquatic Centre. This is a rare opportunity to lead operations at a facility on the brink of transformation, steering a new era of excellence, innovation and community connection.
As Facility Manager, you will oversee all facets of the Centre, from aquatic programs and fitness services to customer experience and team leadership, ensuring the venue becomes the go to destination for fitness, wellbeing and family fun in the region.

Operational Leadership and Facility Management - You will lead the end to end operations of the Centre, ensuring the highest standard of quality, safety and service across aquatic programs and customer service. You will champion health and safety, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement while delivering strategic plans aligned with our organisational goals.
Team Leadership and Development - You will lead, mentor, and motivate a vibrant team of managers, instructors, lifeguards and customer service team members. You will build a strong leadership pipeline, nurture a culture of accountability and connection and deliver performance outcomes through workforce planning and engagement strategies.
Program and Experience Delivery - You will ensure the delivery of best practice aquatic and fitness programs. Working closely with program managers, you will drive quality, participation and evolved service offerings based on data, feedback, and industry trends. You will champion a customer first mindset at every touchpoint.
Business Development and Community Engagement - You will grow the venue's reach through strategic partnerships, local community engagement, and targeted marketing initiatives. You will build strong relationships with schools, sporting clubs, and community groups using insights and reporting tools to enhance business outcomes and customer experience.
About You- Experienced manager with a strong background in aquatics, health, or fitness
- Exceptional leadership and operational management skills
- Knowledge of aquatic operations, compliance, and industry standards
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team with energy and professionalism
- Commitment to outstanding customer service and community connection
- Strong business acumen including budgeting, performance reporting, and strategic planning
- Not afraid to be hands on, leading from the front while inspiring and supporting your team
